We took Briggs to his first Jazz game. We were a little nervous that he would want to get down and walk around, but he was glued to the game the whole time. Even during half time we took him out to the kids playground to get some wiggles out and he was so anxious to go back in. He loves sports already!!

Justin started his training for American Family. So Briggs and I are going to come as much as possible. Briggs flew on an airplane for his first time. He did so good which was nice cause it was hard flying separate from Justin. And right as we were landing he fell asleep.

During the day Justin is in training so we just hang out, go swimming, etc. Briggs loves the hotel room cause it's all new for him to explore. He learned how to flush the toilet, unroll the tp, and open the front door all by himself. He loves this cabinet by the kitchenette and plays peek a boo in it.

We are having alot of fun just being away and enjoying eachother. At nights we go find a new place to eat and something fun to do. Last night we went to a place Justin remembers going to when he was younger and used to come out here for soccer. It's just like the Mayan back home except alot older.

We had fun. Briggs didn't know what to think of it all and wanted to swim with the divers. Were loving the opportunity to be out here together and having lots of fun!

We went and stayed in Park City on memorial weekend. My parents, Abe Marci and Zander, and Andy all went up with us. We usually stay at the same place everytime we go up, but they were full so we stayed at the Westgate Resort. It's located right at the base of the Canyons. I'm so glad our other choice was full because this exceeded our expectations. Online I booked a two bedroom condo and when we arrived we had the presidential suite. It was so nice. So we all decided instead of going out to dinner and shopping we'd spend as much time in the room as possible. Other than a quick trip to the grocery store and swimming we were in the room the rest of the time. I'd highly reccomend this hotel. It was such a relaxing stay. We just played games, watched movies, and took the little ones swimming for the first time!! (and ate alot too!) Briggs wasn't completely comfortable in the pool, but he liked it. Good thing Aunt Marsha is a swim coach. Z on the other hand was a fish. It was so fun watching these two. Having kids and getting to experience things with them, even something as simple as swimming, makes it so much fun! We had such a fun time and we were in good company! We can't wait for more summer fun!!

{Much Needed Update}

I'm seriously the worst at this blogging thing, but this is the start of my attempt to be much better. I'll update you guys with a little of what's gone on since the last post.

Briggs is almost nine months old. It's so crazy how time flies. If only pregnancy went that quick.. We haven't had a check up since six months but he was 75% in weight and 95% in height. Just over the last week I swear he's grown a few inches. He seems so big. We love every stage of life with this little guy. He brings so much joy and excitement into our life. He's got seven teeth right now and were waiting on the eighth. His bites hurt. He's crawling all over the place. He lifts himself up and walks all around things. He's said mama, dada, and baba for awhile , but I think he knows the meaning now. He loves to make you laugh and he mocks everything we do now. He loves books, songs, toys, food. Did I mention he loves food. Seriously this kid LOVES food. He will eat anything and everything except for green veggies. He loves to dance, wave hi and bye, give hi-fives, and clap. He is so fun. He's becoming more of and mom/dad's boy, but still loves people. We are so in love and love being parents.

Now an update on the Mr and Mrs. Justin is still working for his parents till august then he's flying out to train and we'll be opening our own insurance business in early fall. Were both ultra excited. He's antsy for the weather to get warm so we can go boating. I am more than ready too. It will be fun having Briggs at the lake this year. Justin has new car fever and anybody that knows J this won't come as a surprise to. I told him he has to really decide what he wants cause he can't turn around and sell in a year. So he looks on the Internet every night. Mostly at H2's so that's what we will probably end up with:) We just celebrated our four year anniversary. I know I've already said it, but seriously where does the time go?! I think with each year of marriage it gets better and better. I love you babe. My life is so fun with my two boys!! I am a full time mommy and am working at the salon two days a week. I love it. For those of you who don't know yet I got diagnosed with skin cancer. I've had two surgeries at huntsman and now I'm cancer free!! It's been an emotional couple months filled with ouchy surgeries but to hear you have cancer is life changing and to hear cancer free was the best. Thanks to a wonderful supportive and loving husband and lots of family and friends it made the hard times that much better. So be smart in the sun and stay out of those awful tanning beds!! Other than that Justin and I are adjusting more and more to becoming home bodies. Life is good and we can't wait for summer! I'll be better at this blogging thing..promise..I will I have an app on my phone for it now so no excuses. Thanks for still checking in! Here's some pics of Briggs!!

Justin, Kenzee, and Briggs

{2 month stats}

I can't believe our baby is almost 11 weeks old. It goes by so fast! We had his 2 month checkup almost two weeks ago.
Height: 24.5 in.-95th percentile
Weight: 14.3 lbs.-95th percentile
Head: 16.25 in.-65th percentile
He's growing up so fast! He talks and coos like crazy! He smiles all the time now. He's starting to giggle, but hasn't quite broke out in a full laugh. We love it. He seems like he has more control over his hand movements and he's starting to grip things! He's trying so hard to roll completely over. Were amazed at how strong he is.

We had a fun Halloween! Briggs dressed up like a monster and we were just Frankenstein and Frankensteins bride again. We stayed home for our first time and passed out candy. It was fun seeing all the cute kids.

We are slightly obsessed with our little man. Were enjoying every second of life with him. Justin and I are doing so good also. I'm back at the salon two days a week. It's fun to be doing hair again. I love life with my boys. Justin is working for his parents right now and studying to open our own insurance business. We can't believe Thanksgiving is here. Were excited for the holidays this year with our little family!

We can't believe Briggs is already five weeks old. We are having so much fun with him. We haven't got measurements since two weeks and he was 11 pounds and 22 inches long. He's starting to smile at us! He is such a happy baby. The only time he really cries is when we have to stop feeding to burp him and he's just fine once he gets his bottle back! He's also talking and cooing at us! He has such a fun personality. He loves when we sing to him and read him books. He's starting to interact so much. He loves lights. He just sits and stares at them. He loves his sleep! He moans and groans and grunts all night long! Were loving being parents! We can't believe how the time flies. He was born September 1 2009 at 10:42 P.M. He was 9 lbs 2 oz. 21.5 inches long.

Can't believe its been almost 10 months since our last post. We promise to do a lot better now that our little man is here.

I know we haven't posted forever! It seems like yesterday i was going to upload pictures of Thanksgiving and now it's January! Our holidays were wonderful! We always love spending time with family! Christmas was alot of fun! We got to welcome our sweet little nephew Croix into the world! He is absolutely adorable and has so much black hair! We love him!

We found out were having a baby and are soooooo excited! I'm natious all the time and feel like I constantly have to be eating something to not get sick! (bless my patient husband and clients) We can't wait to find out what were having and be able to start decorating a nursery! We will definately keep you all updated!

Were still working on finishing the basement and Justin is pretty anxious to have his theatre/game room! Justin is also studying still to pass his last final exam! It will be nice for him to be done and be able to relax!

Lunch with Sunee Braxton and Brollin

My best friend Sunee is back in town from Washington until April! Yay for me I'm so excited to hang out with them! Ty deploys for Germany the day after Christmas! We're more like sisters for sure! No matter how long we don't talk or see eachother we can just pick up where we left off! On thursday when Ty left for jump school we had Sun and the kids meet us at Bajio for lunch! Justin got there before me cause i got stuck at the salon and Bras was so excited to see him! Brax is beautiful she is a mini Sunee for sure! She is so sassy, but so sweet! Brolli is just the happiest baby I have ever met and he is such a clone of Ty! About halfway through lunch Brax said she needed to go potty! She was in there for awhile when all the sudden we hear her yell "MOM!"We turn around and she yells across Bajio "It's such a mess in there!" So Sun runs in and then calls me in a min later! I had to go get my camera because it was so funny! Brax was playing with the automatic towel dispenser and this is what we found! We love this family so much! It's so good to have them home for awhile!

Salon open house

We're having an open house at the salon on Thursday the 13th from 5-8pm! We will be doing free waxing, paraffin dips, and mini manicures! We will also be demonstrating eyebrow threading-it's amazing! Huge discounts and free product! Lots of good food! Come meet all the staff or just come hang out! We're located at 1155 north main street in Layton! Hope to see everyone there!

This post may be a little late, but since we just set up a blog my friend has been begging for halloween pics! Just and I loved dressing up this year! Our costumes were so fun! Everywhere we went we got tons of stares! You can't tell by this picture, but with my hair and his shoes we were about 6'10"! We went to quite a few parties this year so by halloween we were a little sick of doing makeup and dressing up! I already have our costumes planned out for next year so now it will take a full year convincing Justin into it!

I can't believe that we are going to become bloggers? I never thought in a million years I would ever be apart of a blog but Kenzee loves looking at everyones pictures and enjoys reading about all her million friends out there. So I have decided that I will set up a blog for us so that she can share parts of our lives with all of you.

So to start off we have been married since May 20 2006 and life, ever since that day has absolutely been a dream for me. I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing woman. There is not a thing about her that I could ever imagine changing.

As all of you know, that know her, she is the most loving person you could ever meet and would bend over backwards to help anyone out. She is someone that you could talk to about anything and she would be able to give you good constructive advice to help you out with any problems or concerns that you may have. She is the most patient person in this world, which you would have to be to be married to me. Kenzee is the most beautiful woman in this world! She has beautiful long black hair and incredibly soft olive skin. She has eyes that you get lost in. You can't help but smile back at her when she smiles with her beautiful big smile. My wife is as perfect as they get.

In the short time that me and Kenzee have been married we have started our own little family, and in our family we have 2 little dogs named Bentlee and Bronx. Bentlee is a 2 year old Yorkie that is as cute as they get. Bronx is a 1 year old Maltese that is also as cute as they get his only downfall is that he doesn't stop licking but I guess thats a dog for you. The real hope for our family though is to start having kids as soon as possible in my opinion but we will have to wait and see what Kenzee's opinion on that one is.
